Who Class Coins Are For

A class coin isn't just a souvenir, it's a tribute. It honors the people who carried you through the academy and marks the start of a career you'll spend the rest of your life building.

Friends & Family

For the people who stood behind you through every early morning, every long night, and every doubt. The ones who supported you throughout the journey.

Staff & Cadre

For the instructors who pushed you harder than you thought you could go. The ones who helped mold you into the officer pinning on a badge.

The Class

For every recruit who made it to graduation day. A memento of the beginning of a great career and a reminder of what you accomplished together.

Materials & Finish Options

The standard academy coin is 2 inches in diameter, hard enamel, with a polished metal finish, the best balance of quality, durability, and cost per unit.

Hard Enamel — Our Standard

Glass-based enamel fired at high heat and polished flush with the metal lines. Produces a smooth, flat surface with a jewelry-grade feel. Resists scratching, fading, and daily wear. This is the finish we recommend for academy coins because these pieces are kept for decades.

3D Relief

Deep relief engraving creates raised metal details with visible depth and shadow. No enamel fill — the design is expressed entirely through sculpted metal. Best suited for bold insignias, weapons, crests, and high-detail emblems.

Hybrid

Combines enamel color with dimensional metal engraving. Raised details provide structure while enamel sections add color. A strong option when your design includes both detailed imagery and colored elements.

Metal Finishes

Gold, silver, copper, black nickel, antique gold, antique silver, antique copper. Dual-tone plating available.

Edge Options

Flat edge, rope-cut, cross-cut, oblique line. Edge text available — class number, year, motto.

The Process

Every order follows four steps. No commitment required to start.

We confirm size, quantity, timeline, finish, and design direction. If you have a budget range, we'll recommend the best configuration to meet it.

Use Your Coins as a Fundraiser

Frequently Asked Questions

No. You can submit a sketch, a badge photo, a class patch, or just a written description of what you want. Our design team will create a professional design file from whatever you provide. Many of our best academy coins started as a rough idea on paper.
There is no hard minimum. However, because the mold fee is a fixed cost regardless of quantity, very small orders may not be the best value. For most academy classes, we recommend at least 50 coins to get a reasonable per-unit cost. If cost isn't the main concern, we're happy to produce smaller runs.
A typical new order takes 4–6 weeks from submission to delivery. This includes design time, your approval of the proof, mold creation, production, quality inspection, and shipping. Reorders of an existing design take 2–3 weeks.
Yes. We can recreate or adapt existing designs, including badges, patches, and logos — even from old or blurry photos. Our designers rebuild artwork and bring it to production quality.
We never begin production until you are fully satisfied. Reply to the proof with your requested changes, and we'll revise until it's right. There is no limit on revisions during the design phase.
